Atom Integration Transforms Audio Experience at The Village Church at Shell Point

Fort Myers, FL – [03.03.2024] – Atom Integration is excited to announce the successful completion of a world class audio upgrade project for The Village Church at Shell Point, Fort Myers, Florida. The installation features a cutting-edge JBL VTX system designed to provide exceptional speaker coverage in a complex environment.

The upgrade includes a stereo hang of ten JBL VTX A6 speakers per side, two B28 subwoofers flown in the center, and two AC28 speakers as fills, all powered by Crown I-Tech amplifiers. This setup ensures crystal-clear audio and even sound distribution throughout the church, addressing the unique acoustical challenges of the space.

We have been absolutely blown away by our new VTX A6 and B28 system. The sheer mount of power, clarity and coverage that we have been able to achieve with a box this compact has exceeded our expectations. We love the ability to manage and tune our installation from within JBL Performance Manager in real-time during our events. Our congregation has been impressed at how even our coverage is with the new system in comparison to the point source system we upgraded from.

From the moment the Atom Integrations team entered the facility, we were impressed by how well they knew the VTX system and that though computer modeling they were extremely confident in where exactly to rig the system to achieve optimal coverage for our room. Within 4 days of arriving, the team was able to completely remove our old speakers, hang the arrays, rebuild/rewire our amp rack and have the system tuned in time for our first Sunday morning worship service. Even in a room that is not acoustically ideal, we were shocked at how little adjustment was required to achieve a flat response from the VTX system.
